About the Event
Join us for the 43rd Annual Mid-Hudson Road Runners Club Dutchess County Classic. This event takes place on the William R. Steinhaus Dutchess Rail Trail and incorporates the Walkway Over the Hudson into the half & full marathons. 2021 events will include a Full Marathon, Half Marathon as well as a 5K. Please note that pre-registration is required, there will be no race day registration. For those who do not wish to register online, there will be in-person registration at Fleet Feet from 9/13-9/18 (assuming spaces are still available). The flat, off-road, scenic courses are great for seasoned athletes and first timers alike. Showcasing the beauty of the Hudson Valley, including gorgeous Hudson River views. This is a professionally timed race and will include t-shirts for pre-registered runners and finisher medals for the full and half distances.
Start Location & Times All races will start and end at Dutchess Community College (53 Pendell Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601). Due to the large volume of runners expected, area road closures and the likelihood for congestion during parking, it is recommended that you arrive at the race at least an hour before your race start time even if you already have your bib.

Half Marathon: Participants 1-250 = $50 Participants 251-500 = $60 Participants 501-750 = $65 Participants 751-1000 = $70 Participants 1,000+ = $75
Full Marathon: Participants 1-50 = $60 Participants 51-100 = $70 Participants 101-200 = $75 Participants 201-300 = $80 Participants 301+ = $85
5K (Capped at 500 Participants): Participants 1-250 = $25 Participants 251-500 = $30
Full Marathon Wheel: $60 Half Marathon Wheel: $50
Courses: All races will start and end at Dutchess Community College (53 Pendell Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601). Both the half & full marathons will enter the Hudson Valley Rail Trail via the Morgan Lake Trailhead and will include an out & back over the Walkway Over the Hudson and then another out & back on the Hudson Valley Rail Trail heading East from the Morgan Lake Trailhead. The 5K event is an Eastward bound out and back from the Morgan Lake Trailhead and will not cross the Walkway Over the Hudson. The 5K, half marathon and full marathon courses are USATF certified and the full marathon is a Boston qualifier. Giveaways & Prizes: There will be giveaway shirts (image to be released once available) for all 5K, half marathon & full marathon participants who register before Sunday, August 15th. All participants will receive finisher medals, even 5K participants which is new this year! Prizes will be given for the top 3 finishers in each age group (10 year age groups)
