Volunteer
The MHRRC will need many volunteers to help with this year’s classic race and there will be many fun volunteer opportunities available. You can run AND still volunteer, before or after your race. You can even volunteer in the days leading up to the Classic, with packet pick up and course prep.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Course Setup
Day of Race, Early Morning
Distribute signs and cones along the course.

Food Tent
After Races
In the refreshment tent, keep food and drinks coming for hungry runners
​
Traffic Control
During Races
Keep runners safe on the course, especially at intersections
​
Medical Support
During Races
Medically trained volunteer(s) to support medical needs along the course.
Finish Line
During the Race
Welcome in finishers, pass out medals and water.

Packet Pickup
Before Races
Pass out packets and bibs to registered runners
​
Water Stops
During Races
Work with local high school cross country teams to distribute water along the course
​
Bike Patrol
During Races
Ride the course on your bike, aiding runners and course control volunteers
